We’ll be the first ones to say it: many gratitude journals fall short of what people really need. If you’re here, you probably already know this. Maybe you’ve tried other gratitude or prayer journals before, but for one reason or another, they just didn’t stick.
The Year of Thanksgiving Journal was created to make gratitude an easy addition to your daily routine. It’s a full-year journal designed to help you notice God’s goodness every single day, from moments big and small to experiences that might even seem insignificant at the time—ones you’d probably forget in a year if you didn’t write them down.
Through simple, thoughtful prompts, we make it easy to write a few lines each day, even during the briefest of moments. By the end of the year, you’ll have a beautiful keepsake of daily memories to cherish forever and pass down to your loved ones. Those filled pages become more than just a journal—they’re a written record of God’s faithfulness, and all the little moments of joy in your life, that’s yours to revisit anytime.

When you really pause and look at your life, you can feel that the faith is there. You want to live more intentionally and grow closer to God, and you have the heart and the desire to make it happen. But then come the hard days, when you’re running on empty and taking care of everyone else’s needs. On those days, even taking a moment to breathe or enjoy a cup of tea feels like a luxury. Unfortunately, these are the moments when reflection quietly slips to the bottom of your already long to-do list. After all, who has time to sit down and write about your day when you’re just trying to get through it?
When life moves too fast, it’s hard to hold onto the moments—big or small—that actually matter. That’s why our gratitude journals are here to help you slow down. Through thoughtful prompts that take less than 15 minutes a day to complete, we want to help you remember all the moments of peace and happiness that God blesses you with throughout each day, week, and month.
Lamentations 3:22-23
I’ll be honest with you: I’ve never been an avid journaler. But a sermon in church one day inspired me to create The Year of Thanksgiving Journal.
I can still remember it. It was from Joshua 4, about the Israelites crossing the Jordan River. I heard the Lord say His people need to be reminded of His goodness. Something about that stuck with me, and in that moment, it felt like I’d been handed the name of my journal and the prompts inside of it, as if it were an assignment directly from God.
