Meet the creator behind the journal

I’ll admit it: I’ve never been someone who journals every day. However, every time I’ve journaled to reflect on my life, it has strengthened my relationship with God and helped me practice gratitude. That’s why I want to help Christians and curious seekers do the same—starting with noticing all the ways He shows up in your life.

The Year of Thanksgiving Journal was born from a clear-as-a-bell calling in a crowded church pew: to give faith-driven people a modern-day “stone of remembrance.” This is more than a journal. It’s a family heirloom that a child may read decades later, perhaps even long after you’re gone. It’s a collection of verses that may steady someone through a period of loss. Each thoughtful prompt, detail, and Scripture is designed to support not just you, but also those who come after you.

I’ve walked through seasons where nothing seemed to go as planned. In those times, I chose thankfulness over discouragement, not because it was easy, but because God has always been faithful. Learning to push through and give thanks even in times of darkness has taught me perseverance, trust, and the power of noticing God’s goodness.

My vision for you is simple: to help you stay anchored in gratitude and remember that God’s blessings can always be found, even when they’re hard to see.

Hi, I'm Lindsey!

More About Us

At our very core, we’re a brand built to support believers and those curious about faith. When we started this brand, we wanted our journals to be accessible to both Christians and curious seekers. To us, that means avoiding cliches that feel like empty positivity or overly theological terms that are hard to understand. Gratitude doesn’t have to be either surface-level or flowery. It can be whatever you need it to be, somewhere in between, and that’s what we want to help you capture.

Just like The Year of Thanksgiving Journal, we’re Biblically-rooted, thoughtful in everything we create, and guided by our core values:

We’re as faithful to God as He is to us. We reflect our commitment to him through our work and our practices.

Every journal is thoughtfully created with high-quality materials, making them a resource you’ll want to use daily and keep for a lifetime.

Journaling isn’t just about today. It’s about leaving a record of God’s goodness that your family and future generations can revisit long after you’re gone.

Sharing God’s love means helping others. That’s why we donate 10% of the proceeds from each sale to seasonal charitable causes and help support work that matters.

Even when life gets hard, we choose to notice the good. There is so much to be thankful for, and we let that hope carry us through the seasons.

P.S. My own reminder of God's blessings

Throughout my journey of building El Elyon Print Co. and creating The Year of Thanksgiving Journal, I’ve experienced little blessings every day. The one that has stuck with me the most is a note I found while on my way to work one day. It was written by my father, who sadly passed nearly a decade ago. At a glance, it’s simple: a few scriptures, something he must’ve jotted down in church one day. But to me, it was a gift from God, and it took my breath away when I found it.

It’s more than just a 10-year-old note. It’s a little piece of my dad that feels like he left just for me to find in an unexpected moment. And it’s these moments, these blessings, that keep me going in my faith and practicing gratitude every single day.

If you’ve experienced a little blessing—big or small—we’d love for you to share it with our community. Email your moments of gratitude, joy, or reminders of God’s goodness to hi@elelyonprinting.com, and we may feature them for others to celebrate or be inspired by.
